Future of Movie of the Week

As you have seen, Movie of the Week had been canceled. The main reason was the lack of activity and participation into the competition.

Our first MotW received 4 submissions, the second one only 2. BLOODY 2!
It's not like you have 2 days to make a movie. I've granted people 1 week 5 days to make one. Editing 4 clips does not take forever, nor do you need uber wtf skillz to participate. This competition was about improving eachother, giving eachother ideas with a competition feeling added to it.

So now I was wondering, why has this "project" failed? I myself can't answer this question alone, that is why I made this survey topic. I need your words.

i'm way to busy with other kinds of things, i need to finish my own movie, am working on vurtne.net's promo, i also got a real life, where i need to make a portfolio, a CV for a new job, and a quiz for a familyweekend.. a'ck!

Why sending in unedited footage? It would be easier and faster if you would allow sending in edited movies containing 5 arena games or max 5 minutes pvp or so. I don't get the point of sending in unedited clips and edit them later - is it because of the time limit? If the answer is yes, there are a lot of other possibilitys to make sure that a video isn't older than demanded. Example: This week everyone has to /cheer at start of every clip. Next week everyone has to wear a pink dress, etc.

well I've thought alittle about it, but tbh it takes way to much time :p and im usually pve spec and it's realy hosed up doing a movie in pve spec since I get my rear end kickt from, well, almost every1 :s

Yes but then I'd like to see more people accuay making movies, possibly make a movie of the month and if u could get like, some realy realy skilled people to make movies I'd like to see them, dunno if your doing it atm but it would be nice if u could make a vote about "Movie of the month" were u can choose from Movie Of the week winners to see whos made the best movie, possibly the winner could get some kind of reward for doing this
