eh i can put this here check my key bindings out on my mage if you like .. i think they work great can give some people an idea

im usually spamming shift 1 it is now like a tick in my head always going to page 1... tbh this leaves the hassle of rememberting way too many buttons

My KeyBindings:

Shift + 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
Are used for my left, top bar.

Frost: Ice barrier(1), Ice block(2), Coldsnap(3), Water elemental(4), Blizzard(R1)(5), Frostbolt(R1)(6)
Fire:Combustion(1), Iceblock(2), Mana shield(3), Ice lance(4), Blizzard(5)(R1), Frostbolt(6)(R1)
Arcane: Slow(1), Iceblock(2), Mana shield(3), APMacro(4), Blizzard(5)(R1), Frostbolt(6)(R1)

Normal Bar:
Counterspell (1), Scorch(2), Fireblast(3), Fireball(4, CoC when frost), Frostnova(5), Blastwave(6,Icelance when Frost), Frostbolt(Fullrank) Takes spot 7, but changed bind to 'V', 8, for Grenades, but rebinded to Shift + Mousebutton 5, Polymorph(F), Blink(G)

Right Top bar,
Alt + 1 = FireWard
Alt + 2 = DeCurse
Alt + 3 = FrostWard
Alt + 4 = Arcane Explosion
MouseButton 4 = Will of the Forsaken
MouseButton 5 = DragonsBreathe, When frost 'Freeze' of the WE
Shift + MouseButton 4 = Canabalize

I just switch one bar down, using Shift + Scrolling downwards once,
There are just from 1,2,3,4,5,6,v, etc etc
For water / mana ruby / evo / spellsteal etc.

I hope this can be of any help for people, that are new to keybindings, I personally think its easy, and no 'long' fingers needed hehe, Might you have any questions, regarding keybindings or anything at all when it comes to playing mage - Désperado, BronzeBeard Eu..UD horde mage.

i tríed that once, but i found it very hard to learn it so i went back to my old wasd Smile

Pretty similair to mine, thought you were doing as I do, scrolling to the second bar for buffs/conjure/eat/drink, so i have the same binds for those as my CDs (ex. Tab = Ice Block, and at bar 2 its Arcane Intellect). Thought i saw you do that in Vurtne 60-66 Smile

I've had 3 classes at level 70 so far - warrior, rogue and a priest - and I can say even compared to the priest, a mage has a extraordinarily large number of abilities. I'm beginning to wish there were more buttons on my keyboard! I've just about got to the point now where I know instinctivley every single spell keybind. I've had to go back to my other characters and remap them all to match my mage, as otherwise it gets far too confusing in my head.
I still have to figure out a good place for spellsteal, probably just 7.

` - Blink
1 - Frostbolt
2 - Frostnova (rank 1)
3 - Fireblast
4 - Cone of Cold
5 - Counterspell
6 - Arcane Missles
F - Ice Lance
X - Arcane explosion
C - Scorch
G - Blizzard (rank 1)
V - Water elemental macro (V to summon, attack and nova)
Tab - Ice block
M - Fireball
Z - Wand
B - Trinket slot 1
N - Trinket slot 2
R - Target nearest opponent
T - flip camera view 180 degrees (to see behind yourself, and to throw grenades while on the run)
Y - chat reply (this is the hardest one to get used to!)
U - targets target

F1 - Sheep (rank 1)
F2 - Frostbolt (rank 1)
F3 - Fire Ward
F4 - Decurse
F5 - Mount
F6 - Evocation
F7 - Mana Shield
F8 - Frost Ward
F9 - Mana ruby

Alt 1 - Ice Barrier
Alt 2 - Bandage
Alt 3 - Cold Snap
Alt 4 - Icy Veins/Bezerking/frostoblt macro (I know, I'm a troll!)
Alt 5 - Blizzard (full rank)

For left handers! People always forget about the left handers. If you prefer using mouse with your left hand then I'd probably suggest the setup I use, based around O,L,I,P. I've tried some different combos, but personally I find it best with O,L,I,P. Which makes sense since its sort of "Mirroring " WASD, but with more benefits (more buttons around than W,A,S,D,)

Movement Keys:

O = Move Forward
L = Move Backward
I = Strafe/Turn Left
P = Strafe/Turn Right
H = Tab to next target

In Combat/Main Spells:

] = Ice Block
J = Scorch
[ = Frost Nova
U = Fire Blast
Y = Cone of Cold/Dragons Breath (Depending on spec)
B = Frostbolt/Fireball (Depending on spec)
7 = Arcane Explosion
8 = Blink
9 = Counterspell
0 = Polymorph
- = Blast Wave/Ice Lance (Depending on spec)
= = Ice Barrier/Arcane Power (Depending on spec)
K = Ice Lance/Arcane Missiles (Depending on spec)
M = Frostbolt Rank 1
N = Fire Ward
V = Icy Veins/Frostbolt/Fireball (Depending on spec, If I'm frost I'll have fireball here)
' = Medallion of the alliance/Horde or 1st Trinket slot

You can probably see what I've done, organized a lot of stuff so it goes in a sort of order, the most timed abilities and main abilities I use near me, the ones that I need to be stationary and dont require immediate fast access furthest away, the out of combat spells being the most awkward since I don't need them, and yes I did bind my proffessions cause I hate using the spell book for things.

This won't work for every left hander, but it might work for some. There might be some left handers who find it hard to use the right handed way of playing, but don't know how to key bind, not saying you should use my keybindings, but follow my idea of how to key bind stuff. Hope this helps!
