| | Maybe it's kinda ridiculous but I want to ask you something. Is in Korean tradition something like japanese "seppuku"? As you know or not by reading chinese forum I'm a fan of asian culture so if you can say something about that acts in your country I will be honored ^^ ( I'm just happy that in Asia still live nations full of proud and honour ! ). And no,I'm not a weirddo (or I just think that I'm not hehe ). |

hmmm...... you talking about kamikaze?
koreans don't show respect to the ancestor or nature by death or sucide ritual. unlike jap's koreans focus on true heart and rule.(i'm not offence to the japs. just want to say koreans don't kill living thing to do rituals)
in korean tradition, there is some sort of ritual called "cha-rye" "je-sa" "sung-myo".
ceremornial day (just like today. happy new year!) descendent do cha-rye and sung-myo. generally koreans do cha-rye and sung-myo is in a day. in the morning cha-rye and than visit grave do sung-myo.
after sung-myo, all foods that used on ritual is throw away around grave. this called "go-si-rye".
korean rituals thought hormony with nature is really important. so ancenstor's soul and wild animals can live togather well, descendants feed there neighborhood(i mean wild animals) by go-si-rye.
